Legalities
Let me start out by saying that
I am not a lawyer.
This page does NOT constitute Legal advice. This page is simply
here to help show you what some of the Arizona Revised Statutes say
about Motorized Bicycles and the operation of them. I give you a
brief description or overview of what I think the
statute says, but there is a link to the actual statute and
it is up to you to read and
interpret the statute! Only an idiot would take legal
advice from somebody who is not a lawyer, don't be an idiot!
Read the laws yourself and form your own opinion.
You can find a complete list of the ARS here:
Arizona Revised Statutes Title 28 Transportation
For the purposes of this page any time
it says "motorized bicycle", the proper term is "motorized

-
States more stuff about
headlights. You should be able to see a person at 100 feet
or 200 feet. (Again, just my opinion, but if a cop is measuring
how far your headlight works if you have one, then you were probably
doing something really stupid and were an idiot to the officer to
make him/her give you a ticket for this! Just my opinion.)
ARS 28-815
-
States that person riding bicycle

-
States that person riding bicycle

ARS 28-811
-

shall not permit child to break these laws/regulations.
-
States that this chapter
applies to bicycles operated on highway or on a path set aside for
the exclusive use of bicycles.
These were just a few of the Statutes that caught
my eye. If I don't have one listed above, it doesn't mean that
it's not important or you won't get a ticket for it. You should
read all the Statutes to determine for yourself the regulations you need
to follow.
I hope this helps make it easier to find the laws
you are looking for.
